The fall of the Berlin Wall and German reunification are the quintessential Berlin themes. The Berlin Senate has instigated a 'General Remembrance Concept for the Berlin Wall – Documents, Information, and Commemoration' and will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its fall with a year of cultural events. Kulturprojekte Berlin GmbH has been charged with the conception and implementation of the project '20 years since the fall of the Wall'.
